24 December 2008 It happened again! The prettiest bride I've seen, and I have forgotten her name! Must be some sort of defensive trigger in my brain - protecting me from remembering her! Congratulations, Anton, you deserve her! 24 December 2008 We shot Wayne and his bride (whos name I forgot!) at Clouds Estate just outside Stellenbosch on Friday. 19 December 2008 Sybrand and I did another wedding on Wednesday. This time we were all over the place in Stellenbosch - I even ended up on the floor of a strech limo! 19 December 2008 Friends and I decided to climb/walk the Helderberg on Tuesday, and ended up doing more than some of us bargained for. I really felt the fact that I haven't been to the gym for a month and eating very unhealthly for a while (I can't wait to be back in Stellenbosch, where I can excercise and have fast internet 24/7!).. 19 December 2008 Sybrand and I shot Morne and Danielle's wedding on Monday, and had a very very warm time. After some serious car trouble, we eventually got going in my Tazz (without any aircon!). I'm pretty happy with the shots. I specifically liked the cream/pastel tonality of the shots - mostly inspired by the groom's suit. 15 December 2008 Karlien and I went to Camps Bay yesterday  - she stays in Pretoria and dreams of living in the Cape, so we went to go visit some of her favourite spots. Obviously I had my camera with me, and she kindly obliged to pose for a couple of shots. She is quite the natural, and I'll definitely be begging her for some more sessions! These are my favourites: 11 December 2008 Sybrand and I travelled to Rawsonville on Saterday for a very very warm wedding. Perhaps one day I'll start saying more about the shoots, but for now bandwidth and time and battery life is money! Feedback? 06 December 2008 So I finally got my own (working) remote triggering system last week and I got my gorgeous friend to sit still that I can practice using it with ambient light, using the setting sun as second (back-) light. I think I'll give myself a B+ for this first attempt. 01 December 2008 Sybrand and I had a very wet time covering the wedding of H and K this weekend, with the clouds just not working out right for the couple. Nonetheless, the wedding was still amazing. Luckily they decided to get the couple shoot covered before the ceremony, so we were able to get some great shots with the dramatic clouds in the background.
