Unfortunetaly, Nerina had some issues with their electricity, and I only had the time to see their show once. I stopped by Heemstede and Majuba first, catching a lot of ambient light and luckily no technical errors. Pretty standard stuff: people cheering, people falling, people laughing, people posing. I tried using a slow shutter to center all focus on the expressions of the racers, and after some awkward exposures and wasted shots, I finally achieved the desired result. In my year, however, it wasn't much of a party. Things were terribly organized and the whole evening was a miserable waste of time. Early yesterday, the first years had to sell Akkerjolle, and perform a little routine to entertain some judges (don't ask).
