I had the craziest weekend ever! I flew up to Pretoria yesterday to shoot an amazingly spontaneous wedding. I’ll only get round to edit and finalize all the shots after my exam, but here is a little teaser while you wait ;)

In March, Sybrand and I met with Luci and Jason for a fantastic wedding at Grande Provence. The wedding was coordinated by the Aleit Group.

I did another quick job for FarmingSA again today - this time some guy was talking about the Carob tree and all its uses. I only stopped by during lunch, and never really hung around long enough to learn what all the fuss was about. These are my favourite:

A local acoustic band, Kaleidoskoop, asked me to photograph them on Sunday. We got some nice band pose shots, and then some more natural moments while rehearsing a song or two. I liked these :

Mitch, Mark and I met up with Tasquia and Mohammed, who have been married for 2 years, at the Waterfront for a fun and relaxed TTD session. Although a bit wet at the end, the dress was not harmed at all.

aKing was supposed to have their album launch tonight at KLT, but because of some apparent printing issues only played some songs off the new album.

A local band, Thieve, opened for aKing tonight at the Klein Libertas Teater in Stellenbosch. These were my favourite shots from their set.

I shot a gig for friends of mine, Kaleidoskoop, a month ago. The light was terribly low and insanely boring, but the atmosphere and good music made up for it.
